Cutting edge instruments and full wet lab research capabilities mean we can design projects, prepare samples in house, acquire data, and visualize data. We are based in Silicon Valley, California.
Fluorescence cytometers
BD fluorescence cytometers with 5 lasers and 18 fluorescence channels. Equipped with High Throughput Samplers for plate-based acquisition.
Spectral cytometer
BD Symphony A5 SE analyzer, capable of measuring 50 parameters per cell with spectral deconvolution.
Mass cytometers
Standard Biotools (Fluidigm) Helios mass cytometers with 134 mass channels and over 50 parameters per cell.
Cell Sorter
BD Aria IIU cell sorter, capable of analyzing 10 fluorescent parameters across 3 lasers, with single cell deposition and bulk cell sorting.
Tissue culture
Full tissue culture facilities to enable experimentation in cell lines and primary cells (PBMCs and whole blood).

Founders
The Founders of Cytorum, Tom Wehrman, PhD and Peter Krutzik, PhD, obtained their doctorates from Stanford University, where they specialized in cellular and molecular biology platforms for high throughput screening and deep immune cell profiling, including the earliest days of the mass cytometry (CyTOF) platform.
They previously founded Primity Bio, Inc., a specialized life sciences services company focused on delivering clients advanced flow cytometry assays for early research and drug discovery as well as clinical trial programs. Primity Bio was acquired by CellCarta in 2018.
